President Trump on Sunday made an appearance at the US Open Men’s Finals, as the second sitting US President to attend the event, and received a warm welcome from the crowd.
This is Trump’s first appearance at the Open since 2015.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt posted the following clip from onboard Air Force One as they flew over the stadium en route to Queens, New York.

Later, the President emerged from his suite and greeted a cheering crowd. Maybe a few were unhappy to see the President, but the overwhelming response was cheers.
This is despite speculation from the liberal media that broadcasters were asked not to air crowd reactions to the President’s attendance to hide the booing. The US Tennis Association said the request to broadcaster was meant to maintain focus on the court.
