The Texas House on Friday morning failed to reach quorum as Democrats continue to stonewall GOP redistricting efforts.
Governor Abbott is expected to call a second session at noon.

The Texas House failed to reach a quorum Friday morning and adjourned its special session sine die, with Gov. Greg Abbott expected to immediately call a second session.
House Speaker Dustin Burrows told members “Do not go very far” after only 95 lawmakers were present for the 10 a.m. session, again falling short of the 100 required for a quorum. Burrows expects Abbott to call the second special session at noon Friday.
