Former Georgia Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan is a vocal Never-Trumper who passed his time by going on CNN and trashing President Trump.
On Tuesday, Duncan wrote an op-ed published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution announcing his decision to leave the GOP and join the Democrat Party.
In January, he was unanimously expelled by the Georgia Republican Party’s State Executive Committee for ‘disloyalty.’
President Trump took to Truth Social slam Duncan.
“Failed former Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan, of Georgia, is a total loser. Was never able to get anything done, all he ever did was complain.”
“We didn’t want him in the Republican Party any longer, so I’m told he became a Democrat.”
“Good riddance Geoff. You don’t even have a chance!!!”
Before being expelled from the party and running to the Democrats, he promised to try to “wrest control of the GOP out of the hands of Donald Trump and his supporters” to “heal and rebuild” the Republican Party in Georgia and across the rest of the country.
In July, Scott Jennings slammed Duncan for his inability to understand why Republicans prefer Donald Trump and MAGA, to the former GOP UniParty.
