President Trump stole the show at the final of the World Club Cup on Sunday evening.
The tournament, which was held across the United States in anticipation of the 2026 World Cup, was on the London-based Chelsea FC.
Chelsea defeated French team Paris Saint-Germaine by a three goal margin, adding to the club’s long list of silverware.
However, social media was abuzz with images of President Trump, who was tasked with handing out medals to the players at the tournament’s end.
As Chelsea prepared to lift the trophy, Trump got caught in the moment and ended up sharing the podium with the victorious players.
The president was accompanied by FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who has previously organized the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and Russia.

The images will come as a massive blow to many involved in English soccer, who over recent years have attempted to turn the sport into an engine for left-wing propaganda.
In the wake of the death of drug addict George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020, players were forced to “take a knee” before matches and even wear the words “Black Lives Matter” on the backs of their shirts.
Yet with the World Cup returning to America next year, some of the sport’s progressie authorities will have to hold their nose and play ball—on and off the field.
