The Senate’s biggest showboat created quite a scene last night while speaking at the California Democratic Convention.
As The Orange County Register reported, Senator Cory “Spartacus” Booker (D-NJ) charged up the crowd during his speech
by bashing President Trump and invoking late civil rights icon John Lewis by demanding that the American public get into “some good trouble.”
“Real change does not come from Washington. It comes from communities. It comes from the streets. It comes from the people who’s standing up and have shown over and over again — against the powerful, against the elected, against the rich — that the power of the people is greater than the people in power,” Booker said as the crowd applauded.
“California, will you stand up?” he asked. “Will you stand up for health care? … Will you stand up to Donald Trump?”
“Will you stand up for health care? … Will you stand up to Donald Trump?” Booker continued, as the audience roared.
But then Booker ruined everything with what he did at the end of the speech. As the video below shows, Booker scowls while putting his hand over his heart. Then, he extends his right arm forward and upward with a straight hand.
His palm faces down as he does this, creating an awfully familiar gesture abhorred worldwide.

Sure looked like a Nazi salute, didn’t it?
As The Gateway Pundit’s Kristinn Taylor previously reported, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes (D-NY), along with several media outlets, falsely accused Elon Musk of making a Nazi salute at the Trump Inaugural rally in Washington, D.C. back in January.
But the truth is that Musk put his hand over his heart and then extended his arm up and out as a gesture of appreciation toward the crowd of his supporters. Then, he made the same gesture of gratitude to those behind the stage, saying, “Thank you! My heart goes out to you!”
Musk announced in 2021 that he has Asperger’s Syndrome, a condition that can make him appear socially awkward at times.
But despite Booker’s more blatant action, don’t count on the corporate media grilling him about it or calling him a Nazi. The rules are always different for those on the left.
