Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Friday backed down from her threats against Tom Homan and Kristi Noem over the potential criminal charges against three New Jersey Democrats for storming an ICE facility last week and attacking officers.
The Democrat Congress members stormed into the facility where aliens are being housed without following protocols, and a confrontation with police ensued. Bodycam footage that was released over the weekend shows Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abusing and physically assaulting federal agents at the Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, New Jersey. Democrat New Jersey Reps. Bonnie Watson Coleman and Rob Menendez were also there, fighting for the release of dangerous criminal aliens.
The Department of Homeland Security has said the incident will not be tolerated, and US Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba has since announced an investigation.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Ocasio-Cortez issued a threat to law enforcement following the incident with “hell to pay” if any of the members are charged with a crime. “You lay a finger on someone, on Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman, or any of the representatives that were there, you lay a finger on them, we’re going to have a problem,” she said.
When asked about these comments, Ocasio-Cortez boastfully claimed that she’s just an “effective advocate” and called the idea that she threatened anybody “crazy.”
She then refused to answer for why she thinks the Democrats are above the law as her irate staffers attempted to physically block this reporter.

AOC: I think people have been watching me drag Republicans through filth for trying to cut Medicaid across this country. I think people have seen how I can be an effective advocate and how there are political consequences, whether it’s elections, whether it’s public opinion. So, I mean, in terms of a personal threat of violence? No that’s crazy.
Conradson: You say that [McIver] was doing her Constitutional oversight duties when she assaulted an officer. Why do you think that they’re above the law? Why do you think that Democrats are above the law? Are you afraid that they’re going to be prosecuted and found guilty of assaulting an officer? If they’re found guilty of a crime what are you going to do? Are you going to incite a riot?
