President Trump has said he will classify attacks on Tesla dealerships as a form of “domestic terrorism.”
At an event with Tesla CEO Elon Musk outside the White House on Tuesday afternoon, the president was asked about his response to the recent wave of attacks on Tesla dealerships and charging stations.
“I will label attacks on Tesla dealerships as domestic terrorism,” Trump told reporters.
”We already know who some of them are, we are going to catch them.”

Domestic terrorism typically involves violent crimes motivated by a particular political or religious goal.
Given that Musk is an important part of the United States government, attacks on Tesla dealerships definitely fall within this definition.
Classifying something as domestic terrorism significantly expands the government’s power to deal with these crimes, mainly through increased investigative and prosecutorial powers.
There have been numerous attacks on Tesla facilities over recent weeks, including the burning of charging stations and the threatening of employees.
Over the weekend, Musk revealed that many of these attacks were being funded by the Democratic fundraising organization ActBlue.
ActBlue is funded by several billionaire donors, including George Soros and LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman.

The event at the White House took place hours after Trump said that Musk was doing a “fantastic job,” despite attempts by the left-wing media to try and drive a wedge between the two men.
He wrote on Truth Social:
To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is “putting it on the line” in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!
But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s “baby,” in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for.
They tried to do it to me at the 2024 Presidential Ballot Box, but how did that work out? I
In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American.
Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN???
