Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is a conservative champion and long-time ally of US President Donald J. Trump who has been under relentless siege by the liberal-Globalist EU establishment.
When Trump and DOGE’s Elon Musk started to dismantle the USAID pipeline of funds to promote liberal values and finance regime change around the world, Orbán was fast to notice and alert that the same Globalist NGOs (63 of them) were now trying to move their funding operation to Europe.

Now, the Hungarian leader is leading his government to draft legislation to protect national sovereignty and uncover foreign funding channeled to Hungarian media.
Trump froze funds disbursed by USAID for 90 days and put most of its staff on leave, while Musk is scaling down the agency, causing chaos for Globalist NGOs worldwide.

“Trump’s moves against USAID prompted Orban, a long-time ally of Trump, to say on February 7 that he wanted to eliminate all ‘foreign networks’ of NGOs and media critical of his government.
‘The corruption network that rules the entire Western world of politics and media must be eliminated’, Orban told the opening session of parliament on Monday, adding that his government would ‘go to the wall’ with the new laws.”
Orbán now faces a challenge from a ‘new surging opposition party’ (a.k.a. foreign-funded and MSM-fueled liberals) ahead of an election in 2026.
But he intends to implement a ‘crackdown’ on NGOs and media who had received funding from the U.S. and nefarious billionaire George Soros.
“’We have abundant information on this but still have some gaps… we have found several channels where they funneled hundreds of millions of forints to Hungarian media and organizations’, Orban said.
‘Therefore, I propose to the House that …it should pass the laws needed to protect our sovereignty that are still missing’. He did not go into more details on what the new legislation would entail.”
