President Trump let his legendary trademark humor shine through in his interview with far-left “60 Minutes” last night.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump did a sit-down interview with ’60 Minutes’ with correspondent Norah O’Donnell. This was the president’s first interview with the program in five years.
The interview touched on several pertinent topics, including the indictments against Letitia James, John Bolton, and James Comey, his recent trip to Asia, and his high-stakes trade meeting with Chinese tyrant Xi Jinping, and the upcoming elections.
The interview took a funny turn when O’Donnell decided to draw a comparison between Trump and Muslim Communist New York City Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani.
When she tried to slyly claim he was a charismatic rebel like Trump, the president had an epic response in hand that shut her down.

TRUMP: Communist, not socialist.
O”DONNELL: Some people have compared him to a left-wing version of you, charismatic, breaking the old rules. What do you think about that?
TRUMP: I think I’m a much better-looking person than him.
Perhaps the only thing missing in Trump’s response was citing his hair as one of the reasons he’s better-looking, but that probably goes without saying.
Trump also reiterated this threat to withhold federal funds from NYC if Mamdani wins Tuesday’s mayoral election.
“It’s gonna be hard for me as the president to give a lot of money to New York,” the president explained. “Because if you have a Communist running New York, all you’re doing is wasting the money you’re sending there.”
Trump went on to say he prefers disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to prevail in the election, citing him as the lesser of two evils.
“If it’s gonna be between a bad Democrat and a Communist, I’m gonna pick the bad Democrat all the time, to be honest with you,” Trump said.
