The long-running soap opera of the eviction of Andrew from Royal Lodge is getting more dramatic by the day.
The unstoppable flux of scandalous revelations led disgraced Prince Andrew to give away all his Royal titles and honors, and also led him to finally relent to his brother the King on the matter of his staying at the 30-room mansion in Windsor Park.
For years, Charles has been trying to evict the former Duke of York, not only to distance himself from his endless scandals, but also because reportedly the lack of funds has led Andrew to let the property fall into disrepair.
Now, a day after news arose of the advanced negotiations for Andrew to vacate the mansion, a prominent British Journalist has made an explosive claim: Prince William would have threatened to remove the Royal titles of Andrew’s daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – ‘unless they pressured their disgraced father to move out of Royal Lodge’.
Daily Mail reported:
“Emily Maitlis, the broadcaster who grilled Prince Andrew in his infamous Newsnight interview in 2019, claimed the Prince of Wales may have met with the princesses to give them the ultimatum last week.
It comes after their parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, are understood to have finally agreed to move out of Royal Lodge, the mansion they have shared since 2008, amid scrutiny over their ties to Jeffrey Epstein.”

“[Maitlis] told The News Agents podcast: ‘There was a question over whether there had been, [yesterday] earlier in the day, a meeting between Prince William and the princesses, Beatrice and Eugenie, saying you guys have to get your dad to move out of Royal Lodge otherwise we will start re-examining the state of your own titles. They are at the moment allowed to be princesses, but there was a bit of pressure, we understand, being put on the princesses to say this is going to happen. Obviously, you can see why Andrew as a father would want to keep their daughters happy and keep their titles in place come what may.”

The Telegraph reported:
“But sources close to both the Prince and the Princesses deny the existence of any meeting.
The Prince also does not have the power to remove their titles, or to ask Parliament to do so.
Buckingham Palace has made it clear that the status of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie has not changed since Prince Andrew announced he would no longer be using his Duke of York title.
Palace sources have said ‘the girls’, as they are known in royal circles, are ‘wholly unaffected’ and will be welcomed to family occasions, including Christmas, as usual.”
