A 21-year-old entitled brat from Pennsylvania is behind bars after a violent rampage that left two police officers hospitalized, one of whom underwent emergency surgery, during what began as a routine traffic stop.

Authorities say Dalton Lee Janiczek, of Lower Gwynedd, intentionally used his luxury Mercedes G-Wagon as a weapon, ramming multiple police cars and striking one officer several times before being shot and apprehended.

According to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele and Plymouth Township Police Chief John Myrsiades, the incident began around noon Friday when a Whitpain Township sergeant attempted to stop Janiczek’s vehicle after reports of reckless driving.

The driver refused to comply and fled, weaving through traffic and jumping a median on Skippack Pike.

Roughly 45 minutes later, another officer located the Mercedes in a DoubleTree Hotel parking lot. But when the officer approached, Janiczek allegedly slammed his car in reverse, crashing repeatedly into the police cruiser.

Despite verbal commands to stop, Janiczek suddenly accelerated toward the officer, forcing the officer to open fire in self-defense.

Even after being shot, Janiczek rammed the officer, knocking him to the ground, and then circled back three more times, deliberately running him over as he attempted to apply a tourniquet to his own leg wound.

Janiczek then fled the scene, leading police on a brief pursuit that ended when he plowed head-on into another Plymouth Township patrol vehicle, injuring a second officer before being subdued.

A TikTok user named “kelsandelles” captured the shocking moment of the assault on the Plymouth Township officer.

Police say the young man, who sustained a head wound, was taken to Abington Hospital, cleared for discharge, and booked into the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Court records reveal Janiczek’s privileged upbringing. The New York Post reports that he attended La Salle College High School and Loyola Marymount University, where he was a freshman on the men’s rowing team.

His father, Lee Janiczek, is a partner at a Pennsylvania law firm and resides in a $1.4 million home in Ambler.

“Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Plymouth Township Chief of Police John C. Myrsiades announce the arrest of Dalton Lee Janiczek, 21, of Lower Gwynedd, for the attempted murder of a Plymouth Township police officer yesterday, Oct. 24, 2025, in Plymouth Township.

At 11:56 a.m. on Oct. 24, 2025, a Whitpain Township Police Sergeant attempted to stop a white Mercedes G-Wagon when the vehicle sped away, driving erratically, at a high rate of speed and crossing over the concrete median along Skippack Pike.

At 12:39 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2025, a Plymouth Township police officer responded to the Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in Plymouth Township in search of the white Mercedes G-Wagon.

The responding officer found the vehicle parked in the lot and activated his emergency lights.

The Mercedes driver, Janiczek, put the car in reverse, and struck the patrol vehicle several times. The officer got out of the car and told Janiczek to stop.

Janiczek accelerated directly at the officer, attempting to hit him, and the officer discharged his firearm. Again, Janiczek accelerated the vehicle, this time striking the officer causing him to fall.

As the officer attempted to administer a tourniquet to a leg wound, the Mercedes circled back around the lot and struck the officer three more times as he laid on the ground.

Per protocol, all officer-involved shootings are investigated by the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, who responded to the scene.

Janiczek fled, resulting in a short pursuit by Plymouth Township officers. Janiczek struck a stopped Plymouth Patrol vehicle head on, injuring a second officer.

Janiczek was taken into custody with a wound to the head and treated at Abington Hospital where he was cleared and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Both officers were transported to the hospital where the first officer underwent emergency surgery, and both are in stable condition.

Janiczek is charged with multiple felonies including Attempted Murder of a Law Enforcement Officer, Aggravated Assault, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer and related charges.

He was arraigned on Oct. 25, 2025, before Magisterial District Judge Thomas P. Murt, who denied bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled at 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 4, 2025, before Magisterial District Judge Jodi L. Griffis.”
