Golf fans made sure that New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) knew exactly what they think of her, and it isn’t pretty.
On Wednesday, Hochul appeared on stage for the opening ceremony of the 2025 Ryder Cup on Long Island and was greeted with thundering booes from the crowd.
One attendee shouted, “You’re the worst!”
Comedian Carson Daly tried to lighten the mood with a joke, but it didn’t work, and Hochul made a quick exit.
But even her exit didn’t stop New Yorkers from making sure their opinions about their disastrous governor were crystal clear. Each time a speaker mentioned her name, the boos continued to rain down.
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) shared a viral video from the Ryder Cup noting, “EMBARRASSMENT ALERT!!!”
“Fans badly and brutally booed the Worst Governor in America @kathyhochulat Bethpage, at the @rydercup.“
While Stefanik has not officially announced or launched a bid for NY governor, she has repeatedly hinted at taking Hochul on in 2026.

Every single time Hochul’s name was mentioned, the boos showered down, including a brief mention by United States Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley.
