ENDLESS SCANDALS: After the Fall of his Deputy and US Ambassador, British PM Starmer Defends Chief of Staff McSweeney and the Shady Donations to His Leadership Campaign

Starmer is on the ropes, again.

Starmer goes from crisis to scandal and back.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, failing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is again fighting a crisis in his train wreck of a government.

After forcing his deputy PM Angela Reyner to resign for cheating at taxes and having to fire the US ambassador Lord Peter Mandelson over him being the ‘best of pals’ with Jeffrey Epstein, now Starmer and his ministers are trying to shield his chief of staff Morgan McSweeney from hard questions regarding ‘hidden’ donations.

For the public good, Starmer must accept a full investigation into £750k of donations, the role of Morgan McSweeney, and the means by which he became leader of the Labour Party.

Daily Mail reported:

“The crisis engulfing Morgan McSweeney deepened after an email shed new light on a notorious episode in which his think-tank was fined in 2021 for 20 breaches of electoral law involving undeclared donations.

The email from the lawyer advised Mr. McSweeney to drop his unsubstantiated claim that he had been told donations totaling [around $1 million] to Labour Together did not have to be declared. It warned him that unless he could back up the claim with evidence, it risked antagonizing the Electoral Commission, which was investigating the scandal. It told him instead to try to pass the episode off as a simple ‘admin error’.”

Conservatives published the email, and stepped-up calls for the police to investigate the affair.

This crisis is on one hand McSweeney dodging taxes, and on the other hand the Prime Minister himself hiding the assistance he received from ‘Labour Together’ for his leadership campaign.

“Tory Party chairman Kevin Hollinrake said: ‘The evidence is clear – Morgan McSweeney has been caught red-handed hiding hundreds of thousands of pounds which helped install Keir Starmer as Labour leader.

‘This latest scandal at the very heart of government is incredibly serious – and potentially criminal – yet Keir Starmer has expressed his full confidence in his chief of staff, once again demonstrating his poor judgment and raising serious questions about his integrity and honesty.”

‘If Morgan McSweeney resigns, Keir Starmer will have to go.’

Alex Armstrong’s panel unanimously agree that Sir Keir Starmer will have to resign as Prime Minister as his party continues to be tarred by scandal.

McSweeney orchestrated Labour’s election landslide, and is Sir Keir’s right-hand man.

But he is under attack for his disastrous advice to Starmer to appoint Lord Mandelson as US ambassador, and now, this financial misconduct case back in the news may be the tipping point for him – and the scandal may engulf the Prime Minister, too.
