Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Socialist-NY) has added her name to the list of leftist ghouls who have smeared the late Charlie Kirk following his assassination at the hands of one of their own.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the House of Representatives adopted a resolution to honor the “life and legacy” of Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated last week while speaking on a college campus in Utah.
H.Res. 719, titled “Honoring the life and legacy of Charles’ Charlie’ James Kirk,” was introduced by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on September 16, 2025, and co-sponsored by 165 House Republicans. The measure condemns Kirk’s assassination and praises him as a “courageous American patriot” who championed free speech and constitutional principles, and calls for unity against political violence.
While the measure got bipartisan support, 58 Democrats voted against the resolution. Unsurprisingly, AOC was one of these disgraceful politicians who refused to condemn Kirk’s assassination.
Following the vote, AOC claimed she could not support the resolution because it brought “great pain” to those who suffered under segregation and Jim Crow. She then took the opportunity to smear Kirk as a bigoted and uneducated racist who wanted to deny Blacks the right to vote.
AOC even lied about Kirk being an Anti-Semite despite him being on record as supporting Jews and Israel.
What a nasty, cruel woman.

AOC: The majority proceeded with a resolution that brings great pain to the millions of Americans who endured segregation, Jim Crow, and the legacy of bigotry.
We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act, which granted Black Americans the right to vote, was a mistake.
Who, after the vile attack on Paul Pelosi, claimed that ‘some amazing patriot’ should bail out his brutal assailant. And accused Jews of controlling not just the colleges, but also the non-profits, movies, and Hollywood.
His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated, and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans, far from the ‘working tirelessly to promote unity’ asserted by the majority in this resolution.
