Kid Rock appeared on Watters’ World on Monday night and reacted to the media coverage of the assassination of Charlie Kirk and called the mainstream media ‘public enemy number one.’
It is impossible to disagree. The media’s coverage of this, with few exceptions, has been terrible. If they’re not blaming Kirk for his own murder, they’re complaining about people losing their jobs for gleefully cheering his assassination. The same media that was fine with Cancel Culture for years is suddenly defending free speech.
After offering some kind words about Kirk and his family, Kid Rock talks about the narrative that the media has been pounding out daily for years, that Trump is a Nazi, that his supporters are Nazis.

You’ve got these nut-house kids who sit around watching occult movies on streaming services, instead of going outside and playing sports or doing something productive. Then they think, ‘I’ll do something good. I’ll go kill a Nazi. I’ll kill a racist’”

Lots of people wonder what it is going to take for the media to change. There are two possible scenarios. The first is that people tune them out completely and they realize that if they don’t change, they might lose their jobs. The second is that Democrats continue losing elections. if Democrats lose the 2026 midterms and the 2028 election, the media might start to get the message.
