Joe Abraham’s 20-year-old daughter, Katie, was killed by an illegal immigrant from Guatemala. The illegal, who is suspected of drunk driving, struck Katie at high speed while she was stopped at a red light. Abraham is calling out Illinois Governor JB Pritzker (D) for his dangerous sanctuary policies that allowed this tragedy to unfold.
On Tuesday, Abraham told “Fox & Friends, “”I love the terms I keep hearing… ‘Families are separated, children are being taken or parents are being taken.’”
“My daughter was taken. We are separated, I will never see her again.”
“She got death; I got a life-sentence.”

Fox News reports that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is ramping up arrests of criminal migrants in Illinois, and Federal officials said the raids are being carried out “in Katie’s memory.”
“Every day, the men and women of ICE and the other federal partners that are with us in Chicago, we honor Katie by going out there and getting these criminal aliens off the street,” Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons said on “Fox & Friends.”
DHS shared their efforts on X and took a direct shot at Pritzker’s failure to protect the citizens of Illinois.

Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth (D) weighed in and criticized DHS’ efforts to protect citizens, writing, “And so it begins. This is not about law and order—if it was, Trump would coordinate with the city and police on public safety.”
“Instead, he’s planning to invade, intimidate and stage chaos all so he can swoop in and play the hero. Nothing about this is normal. NOTHING. ”
DHS hit back at Duckworth’s callous comments.
