Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the arrest of a violent criminal alien, an unregistered convicted child sex offender and known Logan Heights gang member, found living inside an active daycare in San Diego, California.
Patrick Divver, Field Office Director for ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in San Diego, made the announcement.
“Today, ICE officers in San Diego arrested an illegal alien from Mexico with a disturbing criminal history. This individual is an unregistered convicted child sex offender with prior convictions that include possession of a firearm, DUI, domestic violence, brandishing a firearm, battery, assault, robbery, and illegal reentry after removal,” Divver stated.
Even more disturbing, ICE revealed that the predator was discovered residing inside a daycare center with his partner, where young children were being cared for every single day.
“At the time of his arrest, this alien was found living inside an active daycare in San Diego with his partner, an alarming situation that underscores the public safety risk posed by individuals just like him.
“This case highlights exactly why ICE is conducting enforcement operations in San Diego. To remove dangerous criminals who threaten our communities, our children, and put public safety at risk,” Divver added.

This shocking case is not an isolated incident. San Diego, along with countless communities across America, has become a magnet for violent offenders due to the Democrats’ reckless dismantling of border security.
Instead of being deported and permanently removed, repeat criminal offenders are slipping back into the U.S., often finding shelter in the very neighborhoods where children and families should feel safe.
