Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday responded to the declassified FBI report of a Democrat Whistleblower who was fired after telling the FBI that then-House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell leaked classified information to the media to further the Russiagate hoax during Trump’s first term.
Asked about the report by Turning Point USA’s Monica Paige about the report and what the President wants to see happen to Schiff, Leavitt told reporters that President Trump “wants to see Adam Schiff held accountable” and that “this administration is taking accountability very seriously.”
She further slammed the leftist media for not covering the “bombshell” story fairly. “If this were reversed, if this were allegations against the president or any of these cabinet officials, I’m sure everyone in this room would cover it as such,” she said
She also read a quote from FBI Director Kash Patel, who said, “For years, certain officials used their positions to selectively leak classified information to shape political narratives. It was all done with one purpose: to weaponize intelligence and law enforcement for political gain. Those abuses eroded public trust in our institutions. The FBI will now lead the charge. With our partners at DOJ and Congress, we’ll have the chance to uncover how political power may have been weaponized and to restore accountability.”

As for this new FBI whistleblower report, I understand Kash Patel, last night, declassified a 302 FBI document showing that a whistleblower, who is a Democrat and career intelligence officer who worked for Democrats on the House Intel Committee for more than a decade, repeatedly warned the FBI in 2017 that then-Rep. Adam Schiff had approved leaking classified information to smear then-President Donald Trump over the Russiagate scandal.
This is obviously a bombshell whistleblower report. Hopefully more people in this room will cover it as such, and I have a quote from the FBI director for all of you. That’s what the administration is focused on and, hopefully, we’ll see some more media reports on this whistleblower allegation. If this were reversed, if this were allegations against the president or any of these cabinet officials, I’m sure everyone in this room would cover it as such.

An unidentified Democrat whistleblower told the FBI that then-Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff approved leaking classified information to smear Trump, according to newly declassified FBI 302 interview reports obtained by Just The News.
Beginning in 2017, the intel officer who worked on the House Intelligence Committee repeatedly told the FBI that Schiff authorized leaking classified information to destroy Trump during the Russiagate hoax.
The whistleblower said Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell was likely the source of the classified leaks.
At the time of the leaks, Adam Schiff served as the ranking member (and later the chairman) of the House Intelligence Committee. Schiff is now a US Senator for California.
The whistleblower also told federal agents that Schiff was promised the position as CIA Director if Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election.
