A man has reportedly driven through a crowd of leftist protesters at a “No Kings” protest near Washington, D.C, injuring at least one person.
As The GAteway Pundit reported, ;eftist groups are holding over 1,800 anti-ICE demonstrations across the nation today.
Groups behind the protests plan to avoid D.C., instead holding a flagship march in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and other demonstrations in Maryland and Virginia towns that border the District.
Police have identified the individual as 21-year-old Joseph R. Checklick Jr.
Notably, this comes after a leftist Tim Walz appointee to the Governor’s Workforce Development Board murdered a Minnesota State Lawmaker and her husband and attempted to murder a lawmaker and his wife early Saturday morning. This could be another potential false flag incident to blame Republicans for violence against leftists.
The murdered lawmaker joined Republicans to cut healthcare for adult illegal aliens just days before being assassinated.
Checklick reportedly drove through the crowd on James Madison Highway in Culpeper, Virginia, about 60 miles from Washington, D.C.
Per Fox 5 DC:
Officials say he struck at least one person with his vehicle.
Checklick Jr. was arrested and charged with reckless driving, and is being held without bond at the Culpeper County Jail.
Culpeper Democrats posted on Facebook, thanking Culpeper Police Department for their “quick response and for keeping our protest safe.”
The group held a “No Kings” rally Saturday afternoon, one of thousands taking place across the country to coincide with a large military parade in Washington, D.C. to mark the Army’s 250th anniversary – and President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday.
This is a developing story.
