The illegal alien rioters also took over the 101 freeway at exit 2/A/Union Station (Alameda Street) in downtown LA.

According to NORTHCOM, the active duty Marines from 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines at Twentynine Palms, California, are in a “prepared to deploy status” as rioters escalate their attacks on law enforcement.
NORTHCOM said in a statement:
By direction of Secretary of Defense and in coordination with U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), approximately 2,000 California Army National Guard soldiers have been placed under federal command and control in a Title 10 status to support the protection of federal personnel and federal property in the greater Los Angeles area.
As USNORTHCOM’s land component command, U.S. Army North stood up Task Force 51, with a two-star general, as the ground command and control element over the Title 10 forces. At this time, there are approximately 300 members of the California Army National Guard’s 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team deployed at the following locations in the greater Los Angeles area: Los Angeles, Paramount, and Compton, California.
Additionally, approximately 500 Marines from 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines at Twentynine Palms, California, are in a prepared to deploy status should they be necessary to augment and support the DoD’s protection of federal property and personnel efforts.
USNORTHCOM will provide more information as units are identified and deployed.
President Trump earlier Sunday directed federal agencies to “take all such action necessary to liberate Los Angeles from the illegal alien invasion.
Trump already deputized 2,000 California National Guard soldiers and Defense Secretary Hegseth said he will mobilize Marines from Camp Pendleton in north San Diego County.
“A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals. Now violent, insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking our Federal Agents to try and stop our deportation operations — But these lawless riots only strengthen our resolve. I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, in coordination with all other relevant Departments and Agencies, to take all such action necessary to liberate Los Angeles from the Migrant Invasion, and put an end to these Migrant riots. Order will be restored, the Illegals will be expelled, and Los Angeles will be set free. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump said on Truth Social.
