At least five Los Angeles Police Department officers and six California Highway Patrol officers were injured during the riots in California on Sunday.
A total of 42 anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement rioters have been arrested as of Monday morning.
The arrests were made by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Los Angeles Police Department, and the California Highway Patrol.
Charges against the far-left rioters include failure to disperse, assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, looting, and arson, according to a report from KTLA.
The injuries to officers are said to be minor, with several of them just being treated on the scene.
The riots began in response to ICE raids picking up illegal migrants around Los Angeles.
During the riots, five Waymo self-driving taxis in the Civic Center area were attacked, with three set on fire, all having their tires slashed, windows smashed, and spray-painted with anti-ICE messages. In videos from the incident, plumes of black smoke were seen as protesters chanted and posed for photos amid the wreckage.

Perhaps the worst part of the riots was the violent clashes on the 101 Freeway, where protesters blocked southbound lanes, threw concrete chunks, rocks, electric scooters, and fireworks at CHP officers trapped under an overpass.

The LAPD declared an unlawful assembly, and tear gas was deployed to disperse the crowd.
