Wesley Hayes, a young father and husband, was killed by an illegal immigrant in a drunk driving accident. Wesley left behind his wife, Olivia, and five-month-old daughter, Ann Marie.

Olivia joined Fox & Friends to share the human toll of the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous border and immigration policies and praise President Trump for protecting American families.

“Our previous administration’s broken policy broke my family, and nothing will bring him back, ” she shared.

“However, in President Trump’s first hundred days in office, his firm action will prevent our tragedy from becoming someone else’s reality.”

“To name a few highlights that have contributed to President Trump’s success so far is, you know, he’s resumed the border wall construction. He’s negotiated with Mexican authorities to ensure that their side of the border is being patrolled properly.”

“He has enabled Tom Homan to enforce immigration laws and, holding sanctuary cities accountable for not adhering to those laws.”

“Because of these actions, we’ve seen, like you showed earlier, over a 95% decrease in illegal border crossings.”

“This statistic proves that all we needed was a president who cared and a qualified border czar to protect innocent American lives from an invasion of not only criminals, but those who disregard the American policies and processes in place to be an American citizen.”

Olivia was a guest of Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for President Donald Trump’s joint congressional address in March.

Johnson told The Blaze, “Wesley Hayes was an active member of his community, a devout Christian, and a new father whose life was tragically taken by the actions of an illegal alien.”

“Instead of raising their young family together, Wesley’s wife, Olivia, is now a single mother and a widow.”

Johnson added. “It’s my honor to host Olivia as a guest at President Trump’s joint address to Congress to honor Wesley’s memory and shine a light on the human toll of President Biden’s open-border policy.”
