The despicable pro-abortion extremist who attacked a pro-life reporter in Harlem will now be facing the music.
As The New York Post reported, the NYPD arrested 30-year-old Brianna J Rivers on Thursday for sucker-punching Savannah Craven Antao during a street interview regarding the subject of abortion last week.
Rivers has been charged with one count of second-degree assault for her actions, which some might view as a slap on the wrist. She is set to be arraigned next Thursday afternoon according to the Post.
Craven Antao celebrated news of her attacker’s apprehension on social media.
“Just got word from detectives Brianna J Rivers was arrested! God is good!” she wrote in an Instagram post.
The Post also reveals Rivers has launched a GoFundMe page, begging for money to hire a defense attorney.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported pro-life activist Craven Antao was viciously attacked in broad daylight by an unhinged pro-abortion radical simply for speaking out in defense of the unborn.
Savannah was on the streets of Harlem conducting peaceful interviews with New Yorkers for a video project titled “What Does Planned Parenthood Do? Perception vs. Reality?” when the attack occurred.
According to Savannah and her husband, Henry Antao, Rivers initially engaged in polite conversation—even offering compliments. But the moment she realized Savannah was pro-life, her tone shifted dramatically. Then she snapped.
Without warning, Rivers began to violently punch Savannah in the face—twice—before attempting to attack her again. Thankfully, Henry Antao intervened and placed himself between his wife and the assailant before calling 911. Rivers then left the scene, yelling, “S**k my d**k” at Savannah’s husband.
Savannah was rushed to the hospital, where she received stitches for her injuries.
Rivers offered a non-apology for her cruel actions in a Facebook post following the attack, blaming Craven for the attack and portraying herself as the victim.
“To Savannah, I sincerely apologize but cannot sit around and allow you to continue pushing this one-sided narrative. I understand hands being put on someone is never the answer, but throwing rocks and hiding hands is worse,” she wrote.
“She knows the truth and needs to release the footage in its entirety,” Rivers added. “Savannah is a professional antagonist, not a ‘reporter,’ and the truth will be told.”
