Sentebale Feud: Chandauka Says Prince Harry Bullied Her To Defend Meghan in the Press — ‘Poisonous’ Lawyer Accused of ‘Playing the Race Card’, Threatening Her Way Into Charity

Harry and Chandauka are slinging mud in the press.

The public rift over the future of African Children Charity Sentebale has again escalated, with an ugly exchange of accusations between the Chairwoman Sophie Chandauka and the organization founder Prince Harry – who resigned from the charity along with co-founder the Prince of Lesotho and the whole board of Trustees.

On the one hand, the Zimbabwean lawyer Chandauka is accusing Harry of having sent her an ‘unpleasant’ message after she refused defend Meghan Markle in the press.

New York Post reported:

“The Duke of Sussex, 40, reportedly demanded Chandauka to ‘explain herself’ after she declined to issue a statement supporting his wife when their polo match tension made headlines in April 2024.

Video of the awkward exchange showed the ‘Suits’ alum, 43, move Chandauka away from Harry as she clutched a trophy during a photo op.”

“As the tense moment made rounds on social media, Harry had his team ask the former global COO of Morgan Stanley’s shared services and banking operations to ‘issue some sort of a statement in support’ of Markle, sources told the Telegraph.

‘I knew what would happen if I did so, number one. And number two, because we cannot be an extension of the Sussexes’, Chandauka said of her decision to not issue a statement when asked.”

Harry’s note to the lawyer was reportedly ‘unpleasant’ and ‘included imperious language’.

A Sentebale spokesman confirmed that there is a document proving the ‘bullying’.

Accused of ‘bullying at scale’, Harry also had his people feeding dirt on Chandauka to the press.

In the meantime, sources ‘close to the trustees’ (i.e. Prince Harry) are accusing the Chairwoman of ‘playing the race card’ to maintain control of the organization.

The Telegraph reported:

“A source close to the trustees, who resigned en masse this month alongside the Duke of Sussex and his co-founder Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, claimed Ms. Chandauka, a Zimbabwe-born lawyer, alleged racism when she realized things were not going her way.

“’She’s definitely playing the race card and openly’, the source said. ‘This is her plan. As soon as anyone turns against her, she brings the race card in and she comes for you’.”

Harry and Meghan’s PR machine is now set on destroying Chandauka.

When the Sentebale board demanded Chandauka to resign, she appealed to the High Court, prompting mass resignations.

“’She’s a very poisonous woman and it’s very sad it’s come to this’, the source said.”

She allegedly ‘barged her way’ into the Chairwoman’s position.

Contacted to “help” with the recruitment process, she complained not to have been considered herself, and threatened legal action if she was not put on the list.

“Having outlined her qualifications, Ms. Chandauka is said to have suggested she might take action unless interviewed for the position. ‘I will reflect upon this and what to do about it’, she is said to have told the recruitment consultant in writing.

‘It was basically a threat’, the source alleged. ‘She was put in touch with the agent and barged her way in’.”
