President Trump’s eldest son has delivered a textbook example of how to treat ‘reporters’ spreading baseless garbage for the sake of getting clicks and trying to divide conservatives.
Mediaite published a so-called ‘exclusive’ article on Friday claiming that Donald Trump Jr. was considering a run for the White House in 2028 to succeed his father as president, citing three “high-level” Trump sources.
Not surprisingly, the author of the piece did not cite one source on the record, leading to the possibility she may have just made up the quotes.

“Don has been the most politically involved of all the Trump kids and has always kept the lanes open for a presidential run,” one White House insider and close friend of the Trump family said. “He is a valued voice for his father, and a real possibility to be a contender in 2028.”
“Don Jr. has long been a key voice in influencing cabinet picks, policy, and potential endorsements,” the Trump insider said. “He has also consistently been the most active on the campaign trail for the president as well as his endorsed candidates.”
Another Trump family friend concurred.
“One hundred percent he will run, but only for president not VP,” they said. “He is older and more experienced than JD. In about a year, real conversations will start about him running. At this point, it’s too soon, and he doesn’t want to start a battle with JD, especially since they are friends.”
In addition to the unnamed sources, astute readers will notice that this ‘report’ shares no actual information backing up claims that Trump Jr. is gearing up for a 2028 run. Anyone can speculate on potential 2028 contenders for the White House, which is exactly what these supposed Trump insiders are doing.
Trump Jr. delivered the absolute perfect response to this ‘report’ from Mediaite. First, he pointed out that a run for president would put him directly in competition with the man he so strongly advocated for to be Trump’s running mate last year, Vice President Vance.
Then he went OFF on the stupid writer who used these anonymous sources to try to divide Team Trump and Vance. He did so by using the type of explosive language that every conservative has dreamed of using against ‘journalists’ who have spread despicable lies for decades.
“I accurately predicted that my buddy JD would be an instant power player in national GOP politics, so your theory is that I worked my a** off to help get him the VP nomination because I want to run for president in 2028?” Trump Jr. wrote to Mediaite.
“Are you f**king retarded? I’m actually glad you’re printing this bullsh*t, though, because at least now the rest of the press corps will see how shi**y your ‘sources’ are and how easily you’re played by them,” he added.
“Congrats, moron.”
He continued roasting the far-left outlet on X while using cleaner language.

@dianafalzone & @Mediaite for embarrassing themselves.”
“You guys got played and now all your friends in the press are mocking you behind your back,” he added with a clown emoji.
The only thing that would have made this reply better is if Trump Jr. had decided to deliver all of this in video format. Imagine how viral his response would go across the country.
