Squad member Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) spoke at a recent rally to express her approval of censoring the American people if she and her cronies don’t have access to our wallets.
In February, President Trump fired Rohit Chopra, the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Days later Elon Musk’s DOGE team entered the Bureau’s headquarters.
Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russell Vought, who is also the acting head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) announced that all new funding flowing to the agency was on hold and nearly all activities of the agency were suspended.
Democrats are up in arms that the Trump administration is looking into the wasteful spending of American tax dollars because it threatens the gravy train they, and their favored few, benefit from.
During a protest of CFPB’s closing, Pressley stepped up to the mic to bizarrely use the opportunity to make a pitch for censoring the American people.
Pressley told the small crowd, “Look, let me tell you something. I’ll take a bit of umbrage here. I’ll speak on behalf of my colleagues.”
“I think I can say we are all willing to work with anyone who’s serious about doing the work of censoring the American people and advancing progress. But they are not serious.”
