A trolling attempt by one of the most loathsome magazines backfired spectacularly when President Trump got wind of their nefarious effort during a press conference on Friday.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba held a press conference in the East Room of the White House this afternoon following a meeting and lunch between the two this morning.
Trump and Ishiba discussed a variety of critical topics, including training exercises, foreign investments in the U.S., semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and energy exports. However, Trump stole the show during the question and answer session when the topic of Time Magazine’s latest cover came up.
The failing magazine decided to troll Trump by putting Elon Musk on the cover, sitting behind the Resolute Desk. The editors in charge clearly tried to show that Musk was the actual president while Trump was just a puppet.

“Mr. President, do you have a reaction to the new Time Magazine cover that has Elon Musk sitting behind your resolute desk?” asked a reporter.
Trump’s response to the question made the entire room laugh.
“Is Time magazine still in business?” he responded. “I didn’t even know that.”
